About us
Our mission is to improve the care of people with chronic and acute diseases. We support manufacturers and public health agencies in the development of new treatment strategies or innovative devices.
A key asset: evaluation of new medical devices in the person’s home
IC@dom is a contract research organisation (CRO) authorised by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Regional Health Agency to carry out research involving humans. This allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments where they are mainly administered: not in the hospital but in the person’s home.1
1. Article L. 1121-13 of the French Public Health Code, relating to research involving the human body, specifies that biomedical research may only be carried out in a setting in which human, material and technical resources that are appropriate for research are available and, above all, compatible with the safety requirements of the people undergoing the research.
